Prez Fitness Test
I've seen a few articles about this lately and I plan on actually taking this test myself. Here is a direct copy and past from Men's Health E-Mail Newsletter:
Here's your chance to feel like a fitness god.
This week, the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports introduced an online fitness test that gives you a national ranking compared to other adults in your age group.
The test is aimed at sedentary adults who probably never received their Presidential Fitness Awards in school, but the chance to compete (er, test ourselves) on a national scale is reason enough for us to try the government's spin on Phys Ed for adults.
The online test involves four basic components: a one-mile walk or 1.5-mile run, pushups, situps, and a "sit-and-reach" flexibility test. If you're MH Fit, you'll likely blow away the competition, but if you want to secure your spot among the nation's elite—and get in shape for summer—a little training wouldn?t hurt.
I don't know what "MH Fit" really means. I can only guess that just by reading the magazine you automatically wake up one morning with washboard abs. I read the magazine for the eye candy oh and once in a while for the fitness tips.
