Drinking Tea Post Workout

After my morning swim I had a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, crumpets and a protein shake.  Being a bit hungry after that I had a cereal bar and a cup of green tea, Kashmiri Style Green Chai Tea to be exact.  The only reason to post about my post recovery routine is that I keep on finding posts that drinking tea is a perfect recovery drink.  University of Georgia researchers finds that moderate doses of caffeine cut post-workout muscle pain by up to 48 percent. Peppermint teas are strong muscle relaxants.  Personally I'm not a fan of peppermint teas so I stick with the green teas.  One thing i make sure to do is avoid sugar if i need any sweetness I just add in some natural honey.  Well that is enough sharing for now my second cup of tea is done brewing.
