It's been raining off and on today so no running or swimming. That just means tomorrow I will try and do both. In the meantime I'm catching up on some swim and Olympic news:
1. Eamon Sullivan may not qualify for the Commonwealth Games. According to the Herald Sun interviewed his coach who said "Stoelwinder said he would have rated Sullivan a better chance of qualifying in one of the now-banned hi-tech suits. I'd give him a better chance because that little bit of buoyancy they provided was all an athlete needed to get through…It's what helped Eamon last year. He came in (to the trials) unfit. But this time you don't have that assistance."
2. Gold Medal Mel interviews Olympic Gold Medalist B.J. Bedford.
3. SwimNetwork talks to Olympic Swimmer Caroline Burckle and her new adventure studying fashion.
4. Swimming World heads to the kitchen with a few recipes and talks nutrition in an article entitles "Five Fixable Nutrition Mistakes".
5. The Arizona Republic reports that 1972 Olympic Swimmer Melissa Belote Ripley had her 1972 Gold Medals stolen.
6. The SCAQ blog posts that "Brook Bennett: Triple Olympic gold medalist now a reporter for the Bright House Sports Network."
7. The heat sheets for the 2010 New England LMSC SCY Championships are up at meetresults.com. The Masters meet will take place March 20th and then 26-28. I always find it interesting to look at seed times. I just can't believe the SCY season is almost over.

9. I don't know why but that Kia commercial with the Hamsters driving just creeps me out so I can't watch this video of a giant human hamster walking in a water ball. If hamsters don't freak you out check out the Kast-a-way blog for photos and video.

TMZ reports "Scotty Lago Conspiracy Theory -- Up in Smoke" Seems he believes that "Scotty Lago thinks the woman who got down on her knees in Vancouver and simulated kissing his crotch -- the infamous photo that got him kicked out of Vancouver -- was a set-up, because she tried to do basically the same thing to Michael Phelps."
