Season 10 Episode 6
Last week after the elimination came a new twist. Each team would pick one person from the other team who would do the weigh in! HOLY CRAP! Talk about game play! Let the back stabbing begin!
At the gym Frado was the whiner of the week. Like every week one person has to whine about how hard it is working out. This week it was Frado bitching to Jillian. Of course he fell of the treadmill which is also a patented thing to do on The Biggest Loser. I think someday they should do a viewer poll of who did the best fall off the treadmill! Frado then after falling down walked off into the tall grass away from the gym. Jillian called him out on his bullshit. Over at Bob's side of the gym the Blue Team were pulling together.
Then it was on to The Four Seasons with Chef Curtis Stone and Chef Lorena Garcia come out. Three members from each team will be cooking with the chefs while the other six members would be judging. The catch would be that they wouldn't know which team they are eating and rating and the prize will be "worth 10 seconds". Of course the mystery is what is "worth 1- seconds" but we are told we will soon find out. In the kitchen the Blue Team went with Stone while the Black Team went with Garcia. The Black Team made a Shirmp Ceviche Martini Appetizer while The Blue Team made a Grilled Shrimp, Papaya and Peanut Salad. As for the Entrees The Blue Team made a Grilled Tuna Ratatouille while The Black Team made Char-Grilled Tuna Tacos. Then came desert and The Black Team made Vanilla Peach Cups and The Blue Team made Grilled Peaches w/ Raspberry Yogurt Sauce. Then came the judging! The recipes can be found at NBC.com. The judging came up to a tie so it all came down to each team guessing correctly the amount of calories in the desert. The Blue Team won this challenge and "10 second advantage".
Before they started this weeks big challenge each team had a pow wow while trying to decide who to pick for the weigh in from the opposite team. Drama!
The Challenge. The winning team of this challenge get's to block the other teams pick for the weigh in. The Challenge was a Dragon Boat Race! The race is 1000 meters (a loop.) Half way the black team takes the lead with an excellent turn while the blue team drifts off. But soon it was a neck to neck or dragon to dragon race. The Blue Team was able to pull it out and finish first.
Back on the ranch Jillian chatted with The Black Team about the challenge. Peep Talk time or Drama time? It was a bit of both before The Last Chance Workout!
The Weigh in!
With only one players weigh in being counted this will be a drama filled weigh in. Adam of The Blue Team still has a 3 pound advantage that he decided not to use which will allow this advantage be 4 pounds if he survives this week!
The Blue Team picked Elizabeth for the weigh in this week. The Blue Team won the option to block The Black Team choice from winning this week's challenge. The Black Team picked Jessica for the weigh in which The Blue Team decided to keep and not reject. Which is a pretty gutsy decision which The Black Team thought was a big mistake.
The Black Team weighed in first:
Anna weighed in at 283 / -3 pounds
Ada weighed in at 211 / -4 pounds
Brendan weighed in at 302 / -11 pounds
Patrick weighed in at 337 / -9 pounds
Frado weighed in at 294 / -14 pounds
and the one and only that mattered for The Black Team…
Elizabeth weighed in at 213 / -5 pounds / -2.29%
So -2.29% is what Jessica will need to beat...
The Blue Team weighed in next:
Jesse weighed in at 296 / -9 pounds
Mark weighed in at 336 / -16 pounds
Adam weighed in at 322 / -13 pounds
Lisa weighed in at 244 / -8 pounds
Aaron weighed in at 398 / -9 pounds
and the one and only that mattered for The Blue Team…
Jessica weighed in at 244 / -4 pounds / -1.61%
The Blue Team came up with a tie for elimination between Jessica and Adam. So The Black Team got to come in and eliminate anyone on The Blue Team except for Mark (he was safe since he had the highest % of weight loss.) So The Black Team voted and sent Adam home. Now Adam goes home never using his pound advantages that he was saving week after week.
While at home Adam seems to be doing damn good! The video recap of him at home was inspiring. Adam started at 402 pounds and is now 264 pounds as of this week. Back in Kansas, Adam worked with the local YMCA starting a local The Biggest Loser Contest.
