Rain, rain go away. Of course I wake up before my alarm goes off on a rainy day. It was pouring outside when I woke up but decided to go swim anyways. I have an ear infection but felt like I had taken enough days off. Of course now my ear is plugged up again. But hopefully this will pass. As for the swim, well it was okay. Felt like I used the swim just to get back into the swim of things. So an easy workout, sort of.
Warm Up
500 Swim / 200 Kick (700)
3x250's on 3:45 - 25 Catch Up Drill / 25 Swim. This was hardest part of workout. My catch up drill is slow so I had to push my swims. I was getting 20 seconds rest but breathing hard. (750/1450)
4x100's on 1:45 Backstroke Descending (400/1850)
8x50's on 1:15 - 1st 25 Drill 25 Swim / 2nd 25 Sprint 25 Easy Free. I did two of these rounds fly, one back and one free. (400/2250)
Then did an easy 50. (50/2300) And that was all he swam. Of course once we were done the sun came out.
