Beijing Olympics gold medalist Garrett Weber-Gale will address the benefits of sound nutrition and an active lifestyle Wednesday at the White House. The leadership of the “Let’s Move!” initiative, launched by First Lady Michelle Obama in 2010, invited Weber-Gale to be one of six speakers on hand for its presentation scheduled for Wednesday, March 6 at the White House. The presentation begins at 9 a.m. ET and is expected to run through noon local time. The First Lady also will address the gathering. WhiteHouse.gov will offer a live webcast of the event."

John Devitt claimed a silver medal on home soil in Melbourne in 1956, then went one better four years later in Rome. Olympic swimmers Kara Lynn Joyce, a four-time silver medalist, and Jimmy Feigen, a 2012 silver medalist, will host a Fitter & Faster Tour swim clinic March 17 in Sioux City. Joyce, a three-time Olympic competitor, was the first woman in history to sweep the 50, 100, and 200 NCAA titles. Davis earned a spot on the 2012 Olympics in London, where he won a silver medal in the 4x100 freestyle relay."
