I may have been out of the water but I'm far from being down. My last swim was New Years Eve yeah it's been that long. I have a million excuses mostly about work. I work long hours doing Personal Training and teaching Group X Classes so I have no energy for myself. But I knew today was a light day and I didn't have to be at work at 7am so I promised myself a swim. Oy!
6x75's Kick/Drill/Kick (450/1050)
6x150's on 2:50 IMish 25 Fly / 25 Free / 25 Back / 25 Free / 25 Breast / 25 Free (900/1950)
Some human error with me using the watch. Hit stop instead of stop. Shockingly I did descend as I started at 2:13 and ended at 2:03. Not my old fast but not bad for not swimming for two months and barely swimming at all in 2014. I'm so hoping I can get myself on a regular routine of swimming at least once a week but hoping for at least twice but we will see.
200 Free Pull (1950/2150)
then a 50 relaxed swim. (50/2200)
8x25's 25 easy kick / 25 sprint choice of stroke (i did butterfly) on 60 (2000/2400)
1 :15.9 25 1:02
3 :16.2 25 1:05
5 :15.8 25 1:03
Human error as I missed my 3rd 25.
Not so bad for my first swim of the year. Or at least right now I guess you should ask me in a few hours. 2,400 yards. Ugh!
