Swimming? It's almost a foreign concept to my body at this time. I didn't swim at all in January, then once in February, once in March and once in April until today. Now I did have my appendix removed so I had to take a few weeks off but that isn't much of an excuse. I could use my job as an excuse but it shouldn't be. Im in the best shape of my life but swimming hasn't worked out. But I finally got the Instabeat device in the mail on Friday so I had to swim. Unfortunately the Instabeat was a big #fail for me. First I had the wrong sized goggles on and when I finally switched to a pair that fit my face and the Instabeat I guess it didn't record anything. Not good. I'll have try it a few more times as I'm sure it's an user error being it was my first time.
Then I retried the Instabeat for 4x25's Free then I did 4x25's IM Order.
My times were nothing to write home about. I'm going to try to swim at least once a week. My work schedule may change a bit for a month so I'm wondering if I can get to the pool before work a few times.

I started this blog 10 years ago today. It wasn't a swimming blog back then. It actually started as something else and slowly evolved. It wasn't to I decided to attend the 2006 Gay Games in Chicago that this turned to a swimming workout journal. Over time I've added things, stopped blogging and swimming and changed things up. I haven't been swimming due to work and appendix being removed but this weekend I'll be back in the water. I believe July 5th will be 10 years of me swimming in Masters so I gotta swim on that day! Well stay tuned I'll be back swimming and posting till then CHEERS!
