Wednesday Wii Search

Last night after work I had to head to Plummer Park in West Hollywood to reserve a room for a swim board meeting so I headed to the Best Buy and Target in my quest for a Wii.  First I stopped at Best Buy as the website said they had them in stock.  As I walk in I see tons of various game consoles, mostly xbox360’s, pilled up everywhere.  I then approach a group of Best Buy employees and asked them if they had any Wii’s.  And of course they didn’t.  I mentioned to the guy that the website said they had them in stock and he said that was wrong and people have been calling them all day.  I asked them if they did receive them are the putting them out on the floor or holding them for Sunday’s circular?  The Best Buy employee stated that they put them out since the Wii won’t be in this weekends circular but if it was in a circular they are forced to hold them till the sale date.

Then a Target more of the same.  Nothing.  But the employee told me to call everyday as they put them out as they get them.  In fact on Wednesday they received 6 PS3’s and sold them in 15 minutes.  Time to call them now...
