Friday's Swim Report - Is It Spring Ahead, Fall Back or Fall Ahead, Spring Back Edition?

Worse Swim Ever! Blame It On The Rain!

Ugh!  I woke up this morning determined to have a kick ass workout.  But then once I entered the pool I called that off.  Now, I know I complain about water temperature and damn hot pools but this morning had to be an all time high temperature record.  It was horrible!  I guess yesterday's rain must have screwed up the water temperature readings or something.

So I just swam nice n' easy and did the taper workout and intervals of the older swimmers.

Warmed Up a 450

Then a 200 kick.  (200/650)

3x200's Freestyle Descend on 3:20 (600/1250)  I stretched these out.  Did a 2:40 for the first one and a 2:25 for the last one. 

150 - 2x25 Pull / 25 Kick / 25 Swim.  Did fly and back (150/1400)

4x50's Drill/Swim.  I did these butterfly (200/1600)

I then warmed down a 100.  So only 1,700 yards.  I just felt like I was in a jacuzzi.  Worse swim ever!  It was too warm!  Oh well at least I got in the water.
