Lane 7 - Surf Life Saving Australia posts via youtube " Swim between the flags.  Surf Life Saving Australia has partnered with Virgin Australia to launch the 2012-13 surf safety campaign, 'Swim between the flags' with a hot summer season for beach goers in close view. The central message of the campaign is 'if we can't see you, we can't save you', an imperative pillar to educate all Australians and international tourists about the importance of swimming between the red and yellow flags."

Lane 8 - Go Erie posts "Healthy return to the pool.  A doctor made me do it. But I'm glad he did.  Back in June, I asked if walking on a treadmill could be aggravating a nagging health problem.  "Your symptoms are worse after using the treadmill?" he asked with a smile. "It sounds like you already know the answer to your question." He suggested that I try swimming or Pilates instead, both of which are low-impact.  I chose swimming, because it would be easier to cram into my schedule. The pool at the Eastside YMCA -- a five-minute drive from our house -- offers lap swimming beginning at 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday."
