Lane 1 - Auburn Pub posts "The benefits of play: Olympian Heather Petri’s Right to Play Rwanda visit journal.  Heather Petri, a member of the 2012 gold-medal winning U.S. women's water polo team and and a four-time Olympic medalist, has joined a group of Olympians visiting Rwanda and Uganda with Right to Play. Lane 4 - Adelaide Now posts "Swimming Australia appoints consultants to review London Olympics performance.  NEW Swimming Australia president Barclay Nettlefold has reacted to the national team's Olympic performance in London by appointing a consultancy firm to review "the culture of the sport at the elite level".  The review into the culture of the team is additional to the Australian Sports Commission's independent inquiry into Australian swimming after News Ltd revealed allegations of stilnox use, bullying, disruptive behaviour and poor leadership plagued the swim team's London Olympic performance."

Lane 7 - Lanchashire Evening Post has "Olympians cook up a stir in town centre.  Some of Britain’s top athletes were causing a stir in Chorley as they battled it out for a Team GB Cake Bake Challenge.  Double Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington, double gold medallist rower Peter Reed, swimmer Keri-Anne Payne and boxer Anthony Ogogo served up a few surprises for a feature for the One Show for Children in Need.  She said: “It is great to see so many people coming down here to spend their money on the cakes.  “Some people just put money in the buckets even though they did not want to buy the cakes.  “The people of Chorley have just been so kind.”

Center officials announced Monday the arena is making a play to host the 2016 U.S. Olympic swimming trials, and the NCAA named the building as the site of second- and third-round games for the 2015 Division I men’s basketball tournament."
