VINTAGE 1955 OVALTINE COMMERCIAL - ATHLETE FLORENCE CHADWICK

The first woman to swim the English Channel felt the need to promote OVALTINE, a vitamin (and sugar) enriched chocolate flavored additive, which was designed for the children of the 1950's to put in their milk. Just like Mary Poppins says "A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR MAKES THE MEDICINE GO DOWN", which would mean that it helps in process of getting the BRATS to drink their milk.

Captain Midnight introduces two impressionable kids into the joy of drinking Ovaltine, and he also introduces them to a World-Class athlete, who happens to be promoting the same milk additive - OVALTINE.
