Lane 1 - ABC posts "Shane Gould: are we a nation of swimmers? Swimmer Shane Gould became an Olympic gold medallist at the age of 15 at the Munich Olympic Games. She joined Natasha Mitchell to talk about her return to the pool as a researcher and share her surprising findings about how Australians learn to swim."

Lane 3 - NY Times posts "Michael Phelps Pleads Guilty and Admits Alcohol Problem. Michael Phelps, the 18-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming, pleaded guilty to drunken driving Friday, almost three months after he was arrested after leaving a Baltimore casino. Phelps, 29, was sentenced to a year in prison, but the prison sentence is suspended. He must be on probation for a year and a half." Meanwhile Baltimore Sun posts "Michael Phelps video from morning of arrest."

Lane 7 - Go Swim posts "All Strokes - Reading the Clock. Coaches will understand the importance of this week's video, especially when working with younger swimmers."
Lane 8 - WRCB posts "Georgia's Bauerle can return to coaching immediately. After being barred from the deck for the past year, longtime Georgia swimming coach Jack Bauerle will return for the team's next meet. Bauerle was sanctioned this week by the NCAA for rules violations involving a star swimmer, but the ruling was not clear on exactly when the coach could return from the suspension."
