Lane 1 - The Advocate posts "Cate Campbell named swimmer of the year. Cate Campbell has joined exclusive company, becoming just the seventh person overall and third woman to win multiple Australian swimmer of the year awards."
Lane 2 - Swimming Australia posts "Merry Christmas"
Lane 3 - Team USA posts "At 96 Years Old, Olympic Champ And War Hero Adolph Kiefer Is Still Going Strong." ESPN posts "Adolph Kiefer's inspiring story. Adolph Kiefer lost only twice in 2,000 career swimming races. He still swims now at age 96."
Lane 4 - The Sydney Morning Herald posts "Thorpe's been unlucky, manager says. Ian Thorpe's manager says the swimming great was unlucky to have contracted a serious infection that's laid him up in hospital. James Erskine also brushed off concerns Thorpe could lose the use of his left arm as "nonsense". "That's just people making that up, I mean that's just nonsense," Erskine told the Nine Network on Wednesday."
Lane 5 - Swimming Australia posts "Swimmer Of The Year 2014."
Lane 6 - LA Times posts "Demolition day in Long Beach. Chris Valle photographed excavators demolishing the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach on Dec. 11. The facility, used during the U.S. Olympic swim trials in 1968 and 1976, will be replaced with a new swim center."
