However, there are a lot of swimmers out there who don't take advantage of everything the sport has to offer. If you’ve never swum in a meet before, you’re missing out on a huge part of the sport."

British swimmer Ben Proud believes that he needs to "work on" perfecting his short course strengths following an impressive season in the pool. The 20-year-old ended the summer as a Commonwealth champion, and while he failed to medal at the FINA World Championships in Doha last month, the swimmer earned some personal bests."
