Back In The Water, Yet Again...

Excuses!  Okay so it's been 2 weeks and 2 days since the last time I was in the pool but a week of that was post Irma and the pool was closed.  The last week was just me being lazy in the morning.  Oh well.  I headed to the pool today with the hopes that the swim gang would be there and I'd get in a workout but in the back of my head I thought if they didn't I'd do a quick swim and then swim tomorrow.  I know if I had swam with the gang I'd be too sore to swim tomorrow.

10x50's Pull w/paddles breathing every 4 on 55

10x50's Fly/Free by 25 on 1:05

6x50's Butterfly Kick on back with fins

So 2,250 yards.  Not a lot but a swim.

Let's hope I can get two or three workouts in this week.  I'd like to break August lackluster yardage.  Looking at my yearly yardage to date looks like my old monthly yardage totals.  Oh well.  I will admit the last week I've been doing nothing for workouts on dryland or in the pool.  I feel like I just want to eat icecream and become fat.  I know this feeling will pass so any swim I can get in will help me get past this hump.
