Working The Butterfly

Today I decided I wanted to work on my butterfly.  So boy did I swim a lot of butterfly today. SCY swim:

Warm Up
200 Free Swim
100 Free Kick
200 Stroke Swim (did IM)
100 Stroke Kick (did fly)
50 Free Swim

Then we did a warm up set.  Hmm...what was it?  Oh well I'll add it in later if I remember.  Then it was time for the main set.  I looked at the intervals in the fast lane and although I knew I could do them I decided to move down a lane.  The problem being the difference between the two lanes was a bit too much and I had too much rest.

4x100's (3 fly / 1 free) on 1:50 i was doing 1:15's for the fly
200 IM on 3:30 okay that was too much rest
4x75's on 1:30 (3 fly / 1 free)
200 IM on 1:30
4x50's on (3 fly / 1 free) on 1:10
200 IM on 3:30
4x25's on 40 (3 fly / 1 free)
200 I attempted to do this fly but it became a broken 200.  I took the first 100 out to fast.

That was it.  The main set series of 4x's for everyone were 3xchoice of stroke and 1 free.  Yes, the rest was a bit much but I was able to work my turns and concentrate on swimming and not worrying about making the interval.  And with that swim ends another month of swimming.  Next up October! UPDATE - Today is October 1st!  Doh!
